The default theme of most websites is normally light. However, some websites use a darker theme. A dark theme displays the majority of the user interface in a darker – usually grey – colour which reduces the luminance from device screens. This helps your eyes to avoid getting tired soon and prevents eye strain. Du to this fact, dark themes have become increasingly popular lately and a lot of famous website have added an option to switch back and forth between these two themes whenever you need to. For instance, at night, people tend to use the darker theme due to lack of light. Basically, you have a button, slider, etc. to toggle on and off which then makes the entire user interface either light or dark. The option is a nice touch to any website although it is not necessary.
If you are interested to have such feature in your own website as well, then check our Bootstrap menu colour change code below. It features a slider to switch between two themes. The Bootstrap header switch theme colour is fully designed and the entire UI will change depending on which theme you are using. For example, the light theme uses black texts on a white background and the dark one uses a dark shade of grey as background colour with white text on top of it. the Bootstrap dark light change template is available below this post.
